St Thomas' (Delph)
About
St Thomas' church building, which is hidden behind other buildings lining the main street of Delph, houses a congregation that can only be described as eclectic; 50% of the congregation travel in from as far away as Littleborough. As a group of God's people journeying together we are seeking to improve our welcome to all newcomers, to become more involved in our local communities (at home, at work, at play) and to glorify God not just in our Sunday worship but in and through our daily lives. Our dreams and vision for both the present and future are bound up in four actions as follows:
- Worshipping the living God- Being the family of God.
- Enjoying our family life and supporting each other as brothers and sisters do.
- Being committed to the spiritual growth of each individual.
- Showing Christs love to the people of Delph and Saddleworth, and seeking to draw others into his kingdom.
We meet regularly on Sunday Mornings, and during the week at Home Groups and other events and meetings. If you’d like to join us, we’d love to see you! We meet at Church on Sunday Mornings at the following times:
